2. Nature of THOM
2.1 THOM is a private membership community for men who have chosen to live without alcohol and is designed for individuals who are ready to build what comes next. The community is focused on forward direction, accountability, and constructive action rather than on tracking sobriety milestones or discussing past drinking behaviour.
2.2 THOM is positioned as a self-directed, values-led community. Members are expected to take personal responsibility for their participation and are encouraged to contribute meaningfully to the collective environment. Membership may include structured programmes, facilitated sessions, and community-led Activities intended to support clarity, commitment, achievement, and forward direction.
2.3 THOM is not designed or intended to operate as:
- A recovery programme
- A treatment service
- A therapy or counselling service
- A regulated coaching service
- A medical or mental health service
- A support group
2.4 THOM does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or clinical advice. Nothing within THOM constitutes diagnosis, treatment, or healthcare of any kind. Individuals seeking assistance to stop drinking or requiring structured recovery support should seek appropriate professional services.
2.5 From time to time, THOM may invite guest speakers, facilitators, or subject matter experts (including individuals who operate as professional coaches in their own business) to contribute to Activities. Any insights, frameworks, discussions, or guidance shared during THOM Activities are provided for general educational and community discussion purposes only and do not constitute personalised professional advice, coaching services, or any regulated professional service relationship between THOM, the speaker, and participating Members.
2.6 In some circumstances, guest speakers or third-party experts may independently choose to offer optional coaching, guidance, or programmes to Members outside the scope of THOM’s core activities. Any such coaching or support is provided directly by the relevant third-party provider and not by THOM. THOM does not supervise, control, or guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or outcomes of any such coaching or services, and participation is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the Member’s own discretion and risk.
2.7 Any fitness, health, or training guidance shared during THOM Activities should not be treated as medical or professional advice, and Members should consider seeking appropriate professional or medical guidance before undertaking any new training or physical activity.
2.8 Members participate as self-directed adults and accept full responsibility for their own decisions, actions, health, and wellbeing.
2.9 THOM is the successor community to Off The Sesh (OTS). Participation in OTS does not create any ongoing rights, entitlements, or expectations in relation to THOM except where expressly agreed in writing under Founders Membership arrangements.
3. Membership Structure
3.1 Entry Membership - “House Mate”
3.1.1 The Entry Membership is a fixed three-month membership designed to induct individuals into THOM as House Mates and provide structured clarity, direction, and integration into the community.
3.1.2 House Mates do not have access to Hosted Events.
3.1.3 THOM operates structured intake windows throughout the year. The commencement date of the Entry Membership will be aligned to the applicable intake window and confirmed at the time of purchase.
3.1.4 The Entry Membership includes:
- One 1:1 welcome call
- A structured six-week New Direction programme consisting of one session per week
- Access to weekly THOM calls during the three-month period
- A welcome pack
3.1.5 The 1:1 welcome call and six-week sessions must be scheduled and completed within the Entry Membership period.
3.1.6 THOM reserves the right to substitute facilitators, speakers, or hosts where reasonably necessary. Such substitutions shall not entitle the Member to a refund.
3.1.7 Failure to attend or participate in any included element does not extend the membership period and does not entitle the Member to refunds, credits, or alternative provision.
3.1.8 THOM reserves the right to defer, reschedule, combine, or adjust cohort start dates or programme delivery where reasonably necessary, including where minimum participation numbers are not met or due to circumstances beyond THOM’s reasonable control.
3.1.9 Where a cohort start date is materially delayed, THOM will notify Members and offer either a place in the revised cohort or a refund of the Entry Membership fee.
3.2 Transition to Active Membership - “House Member”
3.2.1 At the conclusion of the Entry Membership, membership will automatically transition into an Active Membership unless cancelled in accordance with clauses 3.2.8 and 3.2.9. This automatic transition and the applicable monthly fee are disclosed to Members prior to purchase of Entry Membership.
3.2.2 By purchasing Entry Membership, you authorise THOM to collect the applicable monthly Active Membership fee using your chosen payment method from the date immediately following the expiry of your Entry Membership on a recurring monthly basis thereafter.
3.2.3 The monthly Active Membership fee applicable at the time of transition will be as stated at the point of purchase.
3.2.4 Active Membership renews automatically each month until cancelled.
3.2.5 THOM will send a reminder notice to Members in advance of the transition from Entry Membership to Active Membership. This notice will normally be sent between 7 and 14 days before the transition date and will explain the upcoming recurring charge and how to cancel if the Member does not wish to continue.
3.2.6 Active Membership includes:
- Access to weekly calls, as organised by THOM from time to time.
- Access to a private, members-only WhatsApp group (or any successor communication platform designated by THOM).
- Eligibility to book and attend Hosted Events, subject to separate booking, payment, availability, and applicable event terms.
- Eligibility to book and attend Flagship Experiences, subject to separate booking, payment, availability, and applicable terms.
3.2.7 Only House Members holding an Active Membership may organise or act as designated Hosts in relation to Hosted Events.
3.2.8 House Members may cancel their Active Membership at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided. Access to Active Membership benefits will continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
3.2.9 Cancellation must be made through the designated billing system or by written notice to THOM prior to the next billing date.
3.2.10 THOM does not guarantee that a minimum number of Hosted Events or Flagship Experiences will take place.
3.3 Founders Membership
3.3.1 Founders Membership is available only by invitation to eligible former members of Off The Sesh (OTS).
3.3.2 Founders Membership is subject to these Terms unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
3.3.3 The specific commercial terms applicable to Founders Membership (including fees and benefits) will be communicated directly to eligible individuals.
3.3.4 THOM reserves the right to close, vary, or discontinue Founders Membership at its discretion.
3.4 Eligibility
3.4.1 Membership is available only to individuals aged 18 years or older who are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales.
3.4.2 By purchasing membership, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Membership Term & Fees
4.1 Entry Membership
4.1.1 The Entry Membership is purchased at the fee stated at the time of purchase and is payable in full at the time of purchase.
4.1.2 The Entry Membership is a one-time membership lasting three calendar months from the commencement date specified at purchase.
4.1.3 THOM reserves the right to vary the Entry Membership fee for future cohorts or purchases at its discretion. Any such variation will not affect Members who have already purchased their Entry Membership.
4.2 Active Membership
4.2.1 Active Membership is charged at the monthly fee stated at the time of purchase of Entry Membership and renews automatically each month unless cancelled in accordance with clause 3.2.8 and 3.2.9.
4.2.2 THOM reserves the right to vary the Active Membership fee for future Billing Periods.
4.2.3 Members will be provided with at least 30 days’ notice of any change to the Active Membership fee.
4.2.4 If a Member does not wish to continue at the revised fee, they may cancel their Active Membership before the new fee takes effect. Continued membership after the effective date of the revised fee constitutes acceptance of the new fee.
4.2.5 Active Membership fees will be charged monthly on the same calendar day as the day on which Active Membership commences (the “Billing Date”).
4.2.6 If a month does not contain the corresponding calendar day, the charge will be taken on the last day of the month.
4.2.7 Each period between Billing Dates constitutes a “Billing Period”. Cancellation must be received prior to the next Billing Date to prevent the next recurring charge.
4.3 Important Information About Fees
4.3.1 Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights a Member may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable legislation.
4.3.2 Where membership is purchased at a distance, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of the date the contract is concluded under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
4.3.3 By completing your purchase and requesting immediate access to THOM content, calls, programme materials, or Digital Platforms, you:
- Expressly request that THOM begins performance of its services during the 14-day cancellation period, and;
- Acknowledge that, where the services have been fully performed within that period, you will lose your right to cancel to the extent permitted by law.
4.3.4 If you exercise your statutory right to cancel after performance has begun but before services are fully performed, you agree to pay a proportionate amount reflecting services supplied up to the date of cancellation.
4.3.5 Access to calls, programme materials, onboarding sessions, or Digital Platforms constitutes commencement of service performance.
4.3.6 Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of membership without notice. Suspension does not relieve the Member of their obligation to pay any outstanding sums.
4.3.7 Members may not withhold or set off any payment due to THOM unless required by law.
4.3.8 Membership is personal to the accepted individual and is non-transferable and non-assignable. Members may not sell, share, assign, or transfer their membership to any other person under any circumstances.
4.3.9 Failure to attend calls, participate in Activities, or engage with THOM for any reason does not entitle a Member to refunds, credits, extensions, or alternative provision.
4.3.10 THOM does not guarantee any minimum level of engagement, availability of specific members, or continuity of particular activities, hosts, or formats. THOM may modify, replace, or discontinue specific Activities from time to time where reasonably necessary.
Where THOM makes a material change to core membership benefits forming part of the agreed membership package, affected Members may be offered a proportionate adjustment, refund, or the option to cancel their membership without penalty.
4.4 Recurring Payment Authority
4.4.1 By purchasing Entry Membership and/or Active Membership, you authorise THOM to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees, including recurring Active Membership fees where applicable.
4.4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details remain accurate and up to date. Failure of payment may result in suspension or termination of membership.
4.4.3 THOM reserves the right to retry failed payments and to recover any outstanding sums due.
5. Member Responsibilities & Conduct
5.1 Members are expected to act with personal responsibility, maturity, and respect at all times.
5.2 You agree not to:

- Undermine, derail, or dominate discussions in a way that prevents constructive participation by others
- Use discriminatory, aggressive, or threatening language or behaviour
- Breach the confidentiality or privacy of other members
5.3 THOM is a confidential environment. Members must not share private discussions, personal information, or identities of other members outside of THOM without explicit consent.
5.4 THOM facilitates connection between Members but does not supervise or control private interactions between Members. Any communication, meeting, collaboration, or arrangement entered into between Members outside of formal THOM Activities is undertaken at the Members’ own discretion and risk. THOM is not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, or claim arising from such interactions. This includes interactions conducted in person, online, or through third-party platforms.
6. House Rules
6.1 Members are required to comply with THOM’s Code of Conduct, which forms part of the contractual framework governing membership. The current version of the Code of Conduct is made available to Members via THOM’s website or member platform.
6.2 THOM may take appropriate action where it reasonably considers that a Member’s behaviour, attitude, or conduct:
- Undermines the integrity of the house;
- Disrupts other Members or the effective operation of Activities; or
- Conflicts with THOM’s values or standards.
Such action may include restricting access to Activities, issuing warnings, or escalating the matter in accordance with section 14.
6.3 In order to protect the safety, cohesion, and standards of the membership community, THOM retains discretion in managing behavioural issues and maintaining order within the Activities and Digital Platforms.
6.4 THOM activities and spaces are alcohol-free environments
. Attendance or participation while under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances may result in immediate removal from the Activity and be treated as a breach of these Terms.
7. Events, Meet-Ups & Physical Activities
7.1 Participation in any in-person event or physical Activity is entirely voluntary.
7.2 You participate at your own risk, subject to any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
7.3 You are solely responsible for assessing your own fitness, health, and ability to participate in any Activity.
7.4 THOM does not provide medical advice and does not assess your suitability for participation.
7.5 By participating in any physical or in-person Activity, you confirm that you are medically fit to do so and that you have considered seeking appropriate medical advice where necessary.
7.6 Participation in Activities involves inherent risks. You acknowledge and accept those risks and assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, illness, or damage arising from your participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
7.7 Members are responsible for their own insurance and personal safety in relation to any Activity.
8. Hosted Events
8.1 THOM may organise Hosted Events from time to time for House Members.
8.2 Hosted Events are optional and ticketed separately from Membership. Participation requires an Active Membership and separate booking and payment in accordance with the applicable terms made available at the time of booking.
8.3 Separate booking terms and conditions will apply to each Hosted Event and will govern participation in that event.
8.4 Where separate booking terms apply to a Hosted Event and there is any inconsistency between those terms and these Terms, the event-specific terms shall prevail in relation to that event.
8.5 Hosted Events may involve the assistance of designated local Hosts. Such Hosts act in support of THOM and do not operate independently of THOM.
8.6 Where Hosted Events involve third-party providers, those services are subject to the terms of the relevant provider.
8.7 Unless expressly stated otherwise in the event materials, Members are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel to and from Hosted Events.
9. Trips, Retreats & Paid Experiences
9.1 THOM may organise Flagship Experiences from time to time.
9.2 Flagship Experiences are optional and ticketed separately. Participation requires an Active Membership and separate booking and payment in accordance with the applicable terms made available at the time of booking.
9.3 Separate booking terms and conditions will apply to each Flagship Experience and will govern the Member’s participation in that event.
9.4 Where separate booking terms apply to a Flagship Experience and there is inconsistency between those terms and these Terms, the event-specific terms shall prevail in relation to that event.
9.5 Where Flagship Experiences or other Activities involve third-party providers (including but not limited to venues, accommodation providers, transport providers, or activity operators), those services are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant provider.
9.6 THOM will use reasonable care in selecting third-party providers for Flagship Experiences. However, THOM does not control and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or performance of third-party providers.
9.7 Any complaint, dispute, or claim relating to third-party services must be directed to the relevant provider in accordance with their terms. THOM may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating communication but does not assume responsibility for resolving such disputes.
9.8 Where a Flagship Experience includes accommodation or other specified elements, those inclusions will be set out in the booking materials for that specific event. Unless expressly stated, travel to and from the event location is not included.
10. Digital Platforms
10.1 THOM uses Digital Platforms to facilitate communication and participation.
10.2 Access to Digital Platforms is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, uptime, or functionality.
10.3 Behaviour standards apply equally in digital spaces. THOM may restrict or remove access to Digital Platforms at its discretion.
10.4 By becoming a member, you consent to receiving operational and membership-related communications from THOM via email, WhatsApp, or other Digital Platforms. These communications are integral to membership and are not marketing communications.
10.5 THOM is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or technical failures of third-party Digital Platforms. Where reasonably practicable, THOM will seek to restore access or provide alternative arrangements, but such disruptions do not give rise to refunds, credits, or compensation.
10.6 Participation in THOM Digital Platforms, including the private WhatsApp group (or any successor messaging platform), involves the sharing of certain personal data with other Members. This may include your name, profile image, and mobile telephone number associated with your messaging account.
10.7 By participating in such platforms, you acknowledge and accept that this information will be visible to other Members and that THOM cannot control how other Members may
use or store that information. Members are contractually required under these Terms and the Code of Conduct to respect the confidentiality and appropriate use of such information.
11. Recordings & Media
11.1 THOM may record certain calls, sessions, or Activities for internal community use, quality assurance, or future access by Members. By participating in such Activities, you acknowledge and consent to recordings for those purposes, subject to applicable data protection laws.
11.2 Where recordings are shared within the community, they are provided strictly for Members’ personal use within THOM. Members must not download (unless expressly permitted), copy, reproduce, distribute, share, screen-record, publish, transmit, or otherwise make recordings available to a third party.
11.3 THOM may take photographs or video recordings at Hosted Events and Flagship Experiences for community documentation and promotional purposes. Where recordings or images are intended for marketing or promotional use in which individuals are clearly identifiable, THOM will seek separate and explicit consent at or prior to the relevant event.
11.4 Members who do not wish to appear in recordings or promotional materials should notify THOM in advance, and reasonable steps will be taken to accommodate such requests.
11.5 Unauthorised distribution of recordings constitutes a serious breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership and, where appropriate, legal action.
12. Content & Intellectual Property
12.1 All THOM materials, recordings, content, branding, and related intellectual property remain the property of THOM unless otherwise stated.
12.2 Membership grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use THOM content for your own personal, non-commercial use.

12.5 Unauthorised use of THOM intellectual property may result in suspension or termination of membership and may give rise to legal action where appropriate.
12.6 Members grant THOM a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use anonymised feedback or testimonials for marketing and promotional purposes unless expressly requested otherwise in writing.
13. No Reliance & No Guarantees
13.1 THOM exists to provide a structured environment for connection, accountability, challenge, and forward direction. However, THOM makes no guarantee regarding outcomes, including but not limited to personal development, professional success, relationships, health, or wellbeing.
13.2 Members acknowledge that participation in THOM d
oes not replace professional advice of any kind and that any decisions made or actions taken as a result of participation are undertaken at their own discretion and responsibility.
14. Termination, Suspension & Removal
14.1 THOM may suspend or terminate a Member’s membership where the Member commits a serious breach of these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or engages in conduct that materially threatens the safety, integrity, or effective operation of the community.
For less serious breaches, THOM may issue a warning and provide the Member with an opportunity to remedy the breach where appropriate before taking further action.
14.2 Immediate suspension or termination without prior notice may occur where THOM reasonably considers the conduct to involve serious misconduct, including but not limited to harassment, threats, illegal activity, or behaviour that creates a risk to the safety or wellbeing of other Members.
Where reasonably possible, THOM will provide a brief summary of the category of breach relied upon, although detailed reasons may be withheld where necessary to protect confidentiality or the integrity of the community.
14.3 Where Membership is terminated due to serious misconduct, no refund will be payable. Where THOM terminates membership for other reasons, a proportionate refund of unused prepaid membership fees may be provided.
14.4 Upon termination, all rights to participate in THOM, including access to Activities and Digital Platforms, cease immediately.
14.5 Termination of membership does not create any right to re-enter the community at a later date.
14.6 Clauses relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination of membership.
15. Limitation of Liability
15.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
15.2 Subject to clause 15.1, THOM’s total liability to any Member arising out of or in connection with membership or participation in Activities shall be limited to the total amount of membership fees paid by that Member in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
15.3 THOM shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or economic loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of reputation, or loss of business.
16. Privacy
16.1 Personal data is handled in accordance with THOM’s Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
16.2 Members are encouraged to read the Privacy Policy carefully, as it explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected, and outlines your rights in relation to that data.
17. Changes to These Terms
17.1 THOM may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in operations, legal requirements, or the structure of membership.
17.2 Where changes are material, THOM will use reasonable efforts to notify Members in advance via email or other Digital Platforms.
17.3 Where a change materially disadvantages a Member, THOM will provide reasonable advance notice and the Member may cancel their Active Membership before the change takes effect. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Complaints
18.1 If you have a complaint regarding THOM or your membership, please contact THOM at the official contact email address provided above.
18.2 THOM will acknowledge complaints within a reasonable time and aim to respond substantively within 14 days.

19.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
20. Force Majeure
20.1 THOM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, government action, changes in law, travel disruption, venue closures, strikes, labour disputes, or failure of utilities, networks, or third-party platforms.
21. General
21.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and THOM regarding membership and supersede all prior discussions, representations, or communications.
21.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
21.3 Failure by THOM to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
21.4 These Terms prevail over any other THOM policy in the event of inconsistency, except where the Privacy Policy or Cookies Policy apply to the processing of personal data or use of cookies, in which case those policies apply to the extent required by law.
21.5 Members are encouraged to review these Terms carefully and may contact THOM with any questions prior to purchasing or agreeing to membership.
22. Notices and Communications
22.1 Any notice required under these Terms, including cancellation of Active Membership, must be submitted either through the designated billing system or by email to the official contact address stated above.
22.2 Notice sent via social media, messaging platforms, WhatsApp groups, or communicated verbally to other Members or Hosts will not constitute valid notice.
22.3 Notice will be deemed received at the time of transmission, provided no automated delivery failure notification is received.
23. No Partnership or Agency
23.1 Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between THOM and any Member.
23.2 Members, including designated Hosts, are not authorised to bind THOM or act on its behalf except where expressly authorised in writing.
